WELCOME TO MINI MIRACLES DAYCARE!

Thank you for taking time to visit our website! We are a licensed and accredited childcare center and Before and After School Care in the North East of Calgary. We service the following schools Annie Foote, St. Tomas More, Guy Weadick, Chief Justice Milvaine and Father Scollen. Together, our team has more than 40 years of experience both in child care and in educating children. We believe that children are the same in any part of the world, it is our desire to be there for them and guide them through the process of introduction, exploration and learning the fun and interesting aspects of life. Our Program Philosophy

We desire to enhance every child's right to be introduced, taught and master the basic skills of life by offering opportunities for discovery and awareness. The essential knowledge and mastery of self-help and independence, empathy and the value of respecting through a variety of teacher as well as child led activities.

Our program will provide maximum opportunity for SPICE Development. We are committed to providing a safe, warm and caring environment for the children we care for. We believe that children grow and develop optimally in an environment where they feel secure, seen and accepted. All children will be treated with respect, gentleness and honesty.

Activities would include Practical Life Experiences which would include self-help (care for self) such as buttoning, hand washing, basic fundamental skills like pouring, spooning, social grace and courtesy learning how to say please and thank you, proper meal etiquette and manners, etc. Learning Circle which may consist of the following--puppets, weather, greetings, sign and spoken language, etc.

We also believe in achieving and meeting the Social, Physical, Intellectual, Creative and Emotional needs of the children. We believe that meeting the SPICE needs of a child will lead to positive experiences and provide a safe and healthy learning environment.
